Zergling
The Zergling is the basic combat unit of Zerg. The Zerglings are cheap, and you get two at a time when you produce them. That, together with their speed, makes them good for harassing and scouting. With the Metabolic Boost, increasing the speed of Zerglings, they are the fastest ground units in the game. Zerglings are very popular for an early attack. This is commonly known as zerglingrush. When you reach a Hive, you can also research Adrenal Glands, increasing Zergling attack speed by 20 %.
